Sometimes things happen we don't understand
And we begin to question why..
Heartache,pain,disappointment and sorrow
Just do not pass us by.
Even though we are committed to God,
And led by His own hand,
Trouble and trials still come our way,
And its all within His plan.
Our Saviour Himself faced hardship on earth,
As He was tempted, tested and tried.
He suffered great pain and agony,
And on the old rugged cross He died.
But He arose victorious over sin,
Death and the grave,
And He lives forever -
Our souls to save.
So,when troublesome times come
And we have burdens to bear,
Let us always remember our Lord is there,
To comfort, strengthen, and be our guide,
As we follow His word,
And in Him abide..
And where we can't trace Him
In what comes our way,
Let us simply trust Him
As we walk each day,
Knowing He's fully in control,
Working all things out
For the good of our soul.
Then as we are tempted to question why..
When things happen we don't understand,
Let us on Him completely rely,
Knowing all is within His plan.
